Congratulations to Katarina Guy for being awarded a Fulbright United Kingdom Summer Institute fellowship! The Summer Institutes for first- and second-year undergraduates work to promote leadership, learning, and empathy between nations through 3-4 week educational exchanges at UK universities.
Katarina is a sophomore honors student and Morrill Scholar majoring in Political Science and minoring in Spanish. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of Campus Policy on the Undergraduate Student Government and helped organize Immigration Awareness Week. Having taken classes about identity politics, nationality, and ethnicity at Ohio State, she is excited to take part in the UK Summer Institute “Identity and Nationhood through the lens of Wales” at Aberystwyth University. In the future, she aims to pursue graduate school in Comparative Politics and become an immigration lawyer.
