Overview
Boren Scholarships provide funding for American students to study abroad. The program focuses on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security, broadly defined. In exchange for funding, successful applicants commit to serving in the federal government. The application process at Ohio State is managed by Dr. Rebecca Bias at the Center for Languages, Literature and Cultures.
