The Undergraduate Fellowship Office is hosting an information session about Fulbright United Kingdom Summer Institutes (UKSI), which offers funded opportunities to study in the UK for 3-4 weeks during the summer. This program is for first- and second-year undergraduate students, and it prioritizes students with little-to-no travel experience outside of North America and students with limited financial means.
Applicants can choose from one of seven programs of study including:
- Queen’s University Belfast, Understanding Northern Ireland
- University of Saint Andrews, Scotland’s History: Kingdom, Nation, People
- University of Birmingham, British Cultural Heritage
- University of Bristol, Arts, Activism, and Social Justice
- King’s College London, Modern Britain: Institutions, Power, and People
- Lancaster University, Environment and Sustainability
The virtual information session will include discussion the objectives of the award, eligibility requirements, and application components as well as guided brainstorming processes to generate ideas for application essays. The application deadline is February 3, 2025.
